Rectacaine Usage: this combination med is used to temporarily shrink hemorrhoids & to relieve the itching, burning, and discomfort caused by hemorrhoids.

How to use Rectacaine: Before using, clean affected area by gently patting with cleaning tissue. Dry the region by gently patting with piece of dry tissue or clean cloth. Remove protective cover from applicator tip, attach the applicator tip to the drug tube, and lubricate applicator tip. Gently insert applicator tip into rectum & apply little of it medication up to 4 times daily; or as directed by you're pharmacist. Apply some med to the external area around the rectum as well. After each use, clean the applicator tip well and replace protective cover. Inform your pharmacist if your condition does not improve in 7 days.

Rectacaine side effects: No side effects are expected to occur. If side effects occur, notify your healthcare professional promptly. If you notice any of following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop using it pill & consult your healthcare professional or healthcare professional immediately: bleeding from rectum, increased pain (after inserting the applicator tip). If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Rectacaine Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist your medical history, especially of: heart disease, HBP, thyroid disease, diabetes, prostate problems (enlarged prostate), any allergies. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this medication. It's not known if it pill passes into breast milk. Consult youre pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Rectacaine drug interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription pill you may use, especially: HBP medicine, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, isocarboxazid, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), SSRI antidepressants (e.g., fluoxetine, sertraline). do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.

Rectacaine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Rectacaine special notes: for rectal and/or external use only.

If you missed Rectacaine dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near time of the following dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.

Rectacaine Storage: Store at room temperature less than 80 degrees F (27 degrees C).
