Tussin Severe Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

How to use Tussin Severe: Take this medication by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase the dose or take it more many times or longer then prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.

Tussin Severe side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss about appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur 1st few days as you're body adjusts to the med. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your physician. Notify some your pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because it tablet may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.

Tussin Severe Precautions: Tell youre doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're pharmacist. this isnot known if this medication appears in breast milk; consult youre healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Tussin Severe pill interactions: Tell you're physician about any over-the-counter or prescription tablet you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, med since depression, tablet since HBP. Tell your doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors at last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine with out physician or physician approval.

Tussin Severe Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.

Tussin Severe special notes: do not share it product with others.

If you missed Tussin Severe dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Tussin Severe Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
