Corticosteroids - topical

Recort PLUS Usage: this medication is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies & other irritations.

How to use Recort PLUS: Clean & dry affected area before applying drug. To apply, gently massage a small amount bit of medication into the affected region & surrounding skin. don't bandage, wrap or cover region treated unless you instructed to do so by youre doctor. don't use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on children being treated with it drug at the diaper area. Avoid using this drug around eyes unless directed to do so by your doctor.

Recort PLUS side effects: this med may cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when 1st applied to skin. this should disappear in a few days as you're body adjusts to the drug. this pill may also cause skin thinning & discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your healthcare professional. Skin infections can become worse when using it medication. Notify your doctor if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly next side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Recort PLUS Precautions: do not use it drug near eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate and augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively isnot recommended. do not use if their is an infection or sores present on area to be treated. Though very unlikely, Its possible it med will be absorbed into you're bloodstream. it may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for children and for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. it precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use about this med. Consult youre doctor or pharmacist for more details. it drug must be used cautiously during pregnancy & only if clearly needed. Discuss benefits & risks with youre doctor. Small amounts about this drug may appear in breast milk. Consult with your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Recort PLUS drug interactions: Tell your doctor of every meds you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially about: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.

Recort PLUS Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Recort PLUS special notes: Inform every your physicians you use (or have used) this drug. do not share this medication with others.

If you missed Recort PLUS dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as remembered; don't use if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Recort PLUS Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
