How to use Halotussin Ac: Take it medication with food if stomach upset occurs. Take this medication as directed. do not increase the dose or take it more many times or longer than prescribed. it is strong cough medication & must only be used for the condition & by person for which It's prescribed. it should not be used for just any cough. Its helpful to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.

Halotussin Ac side effects: Drowsiness, constipation, stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, dizziness or headache may occur the 1st few days as your body adjusts to the drug. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, itching, rapid heart rate.
