Tridal Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosen mucus. the decongestant relieves nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control cough. this combination drug is used to treat a cough & relieve symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Tridal: it medication is best taken with, or after, a meal or snack. Take this drug as prescribed. don't increase some your dose or take it more often than directed.
Tridal side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea or anxiety may occur first few days as youre body adjusts to medication. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, painful or difficult urination, tremors, nervousness, trouble sleeping, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or pharmacist.
Tridal Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, history of drug dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this medication causes you to feel drowsy. USD it product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult youre doctor promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. this product should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. at least one of the ingredients in this combination product is known to be excreted into breast milk. Consult some your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Tridal medication interactions: Tell your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, including: blood pressure medications, antidepressants, MAO inhibitors (e.g., selegiline, linezolid, furazolidone, phenelzine, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or physician approval.
Tridal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include slow or shallow breathing, slow heart rate, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.
Tridal special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Tridal dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take this if Its near time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Tridal Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
