Robitussin Pm Usage: Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose & throat & itchy, watery eyes. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and another respiratory illnesses.

How to use Robitussin Pm: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase you're dose or take it more often then directed. Capsules and long-acting meds should be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. don't crush or chew them. long action will be destroyed & the chance about side effects will be increased. the liquid suspension form of this drug must be shaken well before using.

Robitussin Pm side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur first few days as your body adjusts to med. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're healthcare professional. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. If you missed Robitussin Pm dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take this if it is near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Robitussin Pm Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom.
