Doxidan Usage: this medication is used for short-term treatment of constipation.

How to use Doxidan: Take each dose with full glass of water or juice & drink plenty about fluids while taking it medication. Laxatives should not be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

Doxidan side effects: this medication may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. it medication may cause urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. do not be alarmed. Its not harmful. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: rectal bleeding, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, persistent constipation. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Doxidan Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, HBP, edema, allergies (especially to tartrazine). Prolonged, frequent or excessive use about laxatives may lead to dependency. it drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss risks & benefits with you're doctor. Consult your physician before using any medication while breast-feeding.

Doxidan pill interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with the absorption of some drugs, it is important to tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription tablet you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Doxidan Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack of feeling alert, or dry gums and eyes.

Doxidan special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, It's important to drink plenty of fluids (4 to six eight ounce glasses day), increase your intake of fiber & roughage & exercise regularly.

If you missed Doxidan dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Doxidan Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & moisture. do not store in the bathroom.
