Acne Treatment Usage: Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat mild to moderate acne.
How to use Acne Treatment: it medication is for topical use on the affected region only. Avoid using it in eyes, mouth & nose, and on inflamed or damaged skin. the liquid wash or bar soap is used instead about soap 1 time or twice a day. Wet the skin before applying it. Gently work up lather & rinse thoroughly. do not scrub the skin. Creams, lotions or gels are usually applied once or twice day to affected region. very small amount is applied to affected area and rubbed in gently. Pads: Wash affected area of skin with a mild cleanser & water then dry it. next apply pad, usually once or twice day to skin as directed.
Acne Treatment side effects: Slight stinging, dryness & peeling may occur initially. Expect this. However, notify your healthcare professional if the following effects occur: redness, irritation, scaly eruptions, rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Acne Treatment Precautions: Tell some your doctor your medical history, especially: other skin problems, any allergies. this drug may bleach hair and colored clothing. Avoid contact. Safe use of benzoyl peroxide in kid under 12 years old has not been established. Benzoyl peroxide should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. it is not known if this medication is excreted into breast milk. Though there have no reports (to date) of harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Acne Treatment Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

If you missed Acne Treatment dose: Use the missed dose as soon as you remember & resume your regular dosing schedule.
Acne Treatment Storage: Store between 59 & 76 degrees F (15 & 24.4 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight.
