Mylanta Gas Usage: Simethicone helps break up gas bubbles in digestive tract. this medication is used to relieve symptoms of excess gas. it has also been used in management of infant colic.

How to use Mylanta Gas: Take this drug by mouth as prescribed usually after meals & at bedtime. Chewable meds must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing to be most effective.

Mylanta Gas side effects: it medication is generally well tolerated when used as directed. their are no reports of any side effects due to this tablet. However, if you experience any adverse effects while taking it med, notify youre pharmacist.

Mylanta Gas Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist if you have: other illnesses, allergies (especially pill allergies). Tell your pharmacist if you are pregnant before using this drug. it is not known if simethicone passes into breast milk. Though theyre have been no reports (to date) about harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before using this drug.

Mylanta Gas medication interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including any antacids or digestive tablet since several combination products may also contain simethicone. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.

Mylanta Gas Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Mylanta Gas special notes: If you experience problems with gas, limit foods known to cause gas & bloating such as beans, cabbage, broccoli & peanuts. Ask your doctor or dietician for help in reviewing your diet.

If you missed Mylanta Gas dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if this is near the clock for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Mylanta Gas Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in the bathroom.
