Ionil T Usage: Coal tar shampoo is used to treat the itching & skin flaking/irritation caused by certain skin conditions about head & scalp (e.g., dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis).

How to use Ionil T: Apply it medication onto hair and scalp usually twice weekly; or as directed by your healthcare professional. Shake the bottle well before each application/shampoo. Wet your hair thoroughly with water & rub shampoo in to lather on your hair & scalp. Rinse your hair well with water & repeat. this medicated shampoo is for use on the scalp & hair only. don't use if you have open skin (e.g., sores/wounds) on you're scalp. Avoid getting any of this shampoo in your eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse you're eyes thoroughly with water. If eye irritation persists or worsens, contact your doctor promptly. Avoid getting any of this shampoo on your clothes. this product may stain your clothing.

Ionil T side effects: Minor skin/scalp irritation or darkened/stained skin may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your physician promptly. Tell you're healthcare professional immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: large and/or painful skin sores/pimples on the scalp. An allergic reaction to this product is unlikely, but seek immeditial healthcare professional attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Ionil T Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. it drug may make you more sensitive to sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure or wear protective clothing or hat when outdoors. Tell your physician if you pregnant before using this medicated shampoo. It's unknown if this drug passes into breast milk. Consult some your doctor before breast-feeding.

Ionil T medication interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription medication you may use, especially: other medicated shampoos or topical products. do not start or stop any medicine with out pharmacist or doctor approval.

Ionil T Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it product may be harmful if swallowed.

Ionil T special notes: do not share this product with others.

If you missed Ionil T dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as you remember. If It's near clock of the next dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

Ionil T Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from light & moisture.
