Antihistamines with decongestants - oral
Curaler Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use Curaler: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, notify your pharmacist. do not increase dose or take this more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form should be shaken well before each use.
Curaler side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth and nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your physician if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly and be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging at activities requiring alertness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Curaler Precautions: Tell your doctor some your medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your healthcare professional promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. do not give this medication to child younger than six years of age unless directed to do so by a pharmacist.
Curaler drug interactions: Tell your doctor what drugs you take, especially about: HBP drugs, anti-seizure medications, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy med. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. don't start or stop any medicine with out doctor or physician approval.
Curaler Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Curaler special notes: do not share it product with others.
If you missed Curaler dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Curaler Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
