Cloxacillin Sodium Usage: this tablet is penicillin-related antibiotic used to treat variety of bacterial infections.

How to use Cloxacillin Sodium: this medication should be taken on an empty stomach. the liquid suspension form of this medicine must be shaken well before using. Antibiotics work best when amount of medicine in your body is kept at constant level. Do this by taking the medication at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day and night. Continue to take it medication until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after few days. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in a relapse of the infection.

Cloxacillin Sodium side effects: this tablet can cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, & vomiting during first few days as youre body adjusts to the tablet. If these symptoms persist or become severe, inform some your healthcare professional. Notify you're physician immediately if an allergic reaction occurs while taking this medication. Symptoms include: difficulty breathing, skin rash, hives, itching. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Cloxacillin Sodium Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: another illnesses, allergies (especially to penicillin or another antibiotics). Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). this tablet must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with youre pharmacist. since small amounts about this pill are found in breast milk, consult youre healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Cloxacillin Sodium drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist about every prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: tetracycline. it pill may interfere with effectiveness of birth control pills. Discuss using other methods of birth control with your healthcare professional. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Cloxacillin Sodium Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, agitation, confusion, muscle weakness, unconsciousness, or seizures.

Cloxacillin Sodium special notes: it medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. do not use it later for another infection or give it to someone else. different drug may be necessary in those cases.

If you missed Cloxacillin Sodium dose: If you should miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered unless Its almost time for next dose. If It's nearly time for next dose, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose.

Cloxacillin Sodium Storage: Store tablets & capsules at room temperature away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. Refrigerate liquid forms. Discard any unused portion after 14 days as it loses potency.
