Altamist Usage: it medication is used to treat dry nasal passages (nostrils).

How to use Altamist: Spray this med in to nose (each nostril) as needed; or use as directed by you're pharmacist. To use nasal spray, place the tip of container just inside nostril. Be careful not to touch the container to inside about the nose. After spraying it medication, breathe deeply through the nose some times to be sure drug reaches deep into the nose.

Altamist side effects: Stinging, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, or salty taste may occur. If any about these effects persist or worsen, notify your pharmacist. Tell youre doctor immediately if any about these serious side effects occur: frequent nosebleeds. If you notice any other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Altamist Precautions: Tell youre doctor your medical history, especially of: allergies (especially pill allergies). Tell your healthcare professional if you pregnant before using this medication. it is not known whether this medication passes into breast milk. Consult youre pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Altamist drug interactions: Tell your physician of all prescription & nonprescription drug you may use, especially about: other nose sprays, decongestants (e.g., pseudoephedrine). do not start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Altamist Overdose: Not applicable.

Altamist special notes: do not share it tablet with others. Doing so may increase risk about infection.

If you missed Altamist dose: Not applicable.

Altamist Storage: Store in room temperature between 36 & 86 degrees F (2 to 30 degrees C) away from light & moisture.
