    Benzoyl peroxide - topical

    Acne medication 5 Usage: Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat mild to moderate acne.

    How to use Acne medication three: this medication is for topical use on the affected area only. Avoid using it in eyes, mouth and nose, and on inflamed or damaged skin. the liquid wash or bar soap is used instead about soap one time or twice a day. Wet the skin before applying this. Gently work up a lather & rinse thoroughly. do not scrub the skin. Creams, lotions or gels are usually applied once or twice a day to affected area. little is applied to the affected area and rubbed in gently. Pads: Wash affected area about skin with mild cleanser & water then dry it. next apply the pad, usually 1 time or twice a day to the skin as directed.

    Acne drug three side effects: Slight stinging, dryness & peeling may occur initially. Expect it. However, notify your physician if the following effects occur: redness, irritation, scaly eruptions, rash. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

    Acne medication 5 Precautions: Tell some your doctor your medical history, especially: another skin problems, any allergies. this drug may bleach hair & colored clothing. Avoid contact. Safe use about benzoyl peroxide in children under 12 years old has not been established. Benzoyl peroxide should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. this isnt known if it med is excreted at to breast milk. Though they're have no reports (to date) about harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Acne medication 5 drug interactions: Tell your doctor about all medicines you may use, both prescription & nonprescription, especially: other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine with-out healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    Acne medication 5 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Acne medication three special notes: this tablet is available in much forms such as lotion, cream, gel or cleanser & in various strengths (2.5% to 10%). some canbe purchased without prescription. Discuss the various products with you're healthcare professional or physician to determine the best one for you.

    If you missed Acne medication three dose: Use the missed dose as soon as you remember and resume youre regular dosing schedule.

    Acne med three Storage: Store between 59 & 76 degrees F (15 and 24.4 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight.
