    Magnesium supplement - oral

    Maginex Usage: Magnesium plays critical role at body. It's essential for normal functioning of nerves, muscles and cells. Magnesium supplements used to treat or prevent low blood magnesium levels.

    Maginex can be used also for: this drug may also be used to prevent certain types about kidney stones.

    How to use Maginex: Take this drug orally as directed. It's best taken with or just after a meal to improve absorption. Take each dose with full glass of water. Swallow sustained release tablets whole. do not crush or chew them.

    Maginex side effects: this medication is generally well tolerated. Stomach upset, bloating, gas or diarrhea may occur, especially with higher doses. Notify your pharmacist if you experience: nausea, vomiting, any change in heart rate, flushing, faintness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your healthcare professional or physician.

    Maginex Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, any allergies. this med should be used as directed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.

    Maginex medication interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take especially: digoxin, penicillamine, any antibiotics. Avoid taking any tetracycline or quinolone antibiotic within 1 to 2 hours about taking magnesium since it may interfere with the absorption of the antibiotic. don't start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Maginex Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slow heartbeat, flushing, severe drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness, and loss of consciousness.

    Maginex special notes: Magnesium supplements available in different forms which vary in amount of medication they contain. many available without a prescription. Ask you're doctor or pharmacist to help select best product for you. Foods rich in magnesium include avocados, bananas, beans, grains, green vegetables, roasted peanuts. Follow any dietary guidelines recommended.

    If you missed Maginex dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if Its near clock for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Maginex Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store at bathroom.
