Mylanta Usage: Simethicone helps break up gas bubbles in the digestive tract. it medication is used to relieve symptoms of excess gas. it has also been used in the management about infant colic.

How to use Mylanta: Take this medication by mouth as prescribed usually after meals & in bedtime.

Mylanta side effects: this medication is generally well tolerated when used as directed. they're no reports of any side effects due to this medication. However, if you experience any adverse effects while taking this drug, notify your healthcare professional.

Mylanta Precautions: Tell some your doctor if you have: other illnesses, allergies (especially medication allergies). Tell you're pharmacist if you pregnant before using this med. this isn't known if simethicone passes in to breast milk. Though there have been no reports (to date) about harm to nursing infants, consult your healthcare professional before using this med.

Mylanta medication interactions: Tell your physician about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including any antacids or digestive medication since some combination goods may also contain simethicone. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.

Mylanta Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Mylanta special notes: If you experience problems with gas, limit foods known to cause gas and bloating such as beans, cabbage, broccoli & peanuts. Ask your physician or dietician since help in reviewing your diet.

If you missed Mylanta dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near time since next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Mylanta Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. don't store in bathroom.
