    Antihistamines with decongestants - oral long acting

    Iofed Pd Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.

    How to use Iofed Pd: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. Sustained-release or long acting tablets & capsules must be swallowed whole. Chewing or crushing them will destroy long action & may increase side effects. Its recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking it drug, unless your physician instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify your doctor. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended.

    Iofed Pd side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability and dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. Notify you're doctor if you develop: trouble breathing, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly and be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

    Iofed Pd Precautions: Tell you're healthcare professional you're medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, diabetes, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, overactive thyroid gland. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult some your physician before breast-feeding. bucks other medicines you take for duplications. don't drink alcoholic beverages. don't give extended-release tablets to a kid younger then 12 years of age unless directed to do so by physician.

    Iofed Pd medication interactions: Tell youre pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially drug for: HBP, seizures, depression. Tell your doctor if you use any drugs that make you drowsy such as: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication (e.g., codeine), other cold or allergy drugs. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last 2 weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

    Iofed Pd Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose at children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

    Iofed Pd special notes: do not share this product with others.

    If you missed Iofed Pd dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Iofed Pd Storage: Store in room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
