Benzocaine topical spray

common brand names: Endocaine, Hurricaine
Hurricaine Usage: it medication is used on skin to relieve pain, itching & irritation due to insect bites, burns, scrapes, sunburn, rash or other skin disorders.
How to use Hurricaine: this is used on skin only as directed. Apply to clean, dry skin. Shake the container gently & hold it upright 2 to 3 inches away from the skin. Direct spray nozzle to affected area & press to deliver thin layer about medication. Avoid spraying in or near the eyes. do not breathe in spray. do not use large amounts or apply this more much times than directed as your condition will not clear faster, but the chance since side effects may increase.
Hurricaine side effects: Slight stinging, tingling or irritation may occur when 1'st applied. Expect this. However, if irritation or redness continue, become worse or you develop skin rash, notify your healthcare professional. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Hurricaine Precautions: Before using this, tell your physician if you have: skin disorders, skin infections, sensitivity to skin products, allergies (especially to ester-type anesthetics). it med should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with some your pharmacist. It's not known if this med is excreted in to breast milk. Consult you're physician before breast-feeding.
Hurricaine med interactions: Tell your doctor of any nonprescription or prescription tablet you may use including: every skin products. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or physician approval.
Hurricaine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Hurricaine special notes: If condition for which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after some days, notify your healthcare professional.
If you missed Hurricaine dose: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered but not if this is near time for next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Hurricaine Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from sunlight & open flames. do not freeze.
