Hm Senna Usage: Irritant or stimulant laxatives are used to treat constipation & to clear intestine before rectal or bowel examinations.

How to use Hm Senna: Take each dose with full glass of water or juice & drink plenty of fluids while taking this tablet. Chewable tablets to be chewed thoroughly. meds to be swallowed whole with full glass about water. Wafers to be chewed. Laxatives should not be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

Hm Senna side effects: it tablet may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you experience: rectal bleeding, rapid heart rate, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, unrelieved constipation. this drug can cause urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. do not be alarmed. it isnt harmful. Prolonged, frequent or excessive use about laxatives may lead to dependency. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or healthcare professional.

Hm Senna Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, swelling (edema), any allergies (especially to tartrazine). Castor oil isnt recommended for use during pregnancy. Bulk producing laxatives an alternative. Discuss the risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. Consult your healthcare professional before using any medication while breast-feeding.

Hm Senna drug interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with the absorption of several medications, this is important to tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. Avoid the use of dairy goods or antacids within one hour of taking bisacodyl meds. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.

Hm Senna Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack about feeling alert, or dry gums & eyes.

Hm Senna special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, It's important to drink plenty of fluids (4 to six eight ounce glasses day), increase your intake of fiber & roughage and exercise regularly.

If you missed Hm Senna dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if this is near clock for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
