Altachlore Usage: it medication is used to reduce swelling of cornea in certain eye conditions. this may also be used during eye exams.

How to use Altachlore: Apply this medication to eye as directed. Apply eye ointment to affected eyes as follows: Wash hands 1'st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch tube tip or let this touch your eye. Rolling the ointment tube in your hands for a minute will make the ointment flow easier. Tilt youre head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ointment into pouch by squeezing tube gently. Close the eye and roll eyeball at all directions to spread the drug. Try not to blink & do not rub the eye. Wipe tip of ointment tube with tissue to remove excess tablet before capping it. If you using an eye drop in addition to this pill, apply the eye drops 1st & wait at least five minutes before applying it eye ointment. If you are using another type of eye ointment, wait in least ten minutes after using this medication before applying it.

Altachlore side effects: Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for period after applying the ointment. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Burning or irritation about eye may occur when first applied. If these symptoms continue or become worse, inform some your healthcare professional. Notify your physician immediately if you develop: redness/pain/ swelling in or around eyes, vision problems, sensitivity to light, headache. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your physician or physician.

Altachlore Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: another eye problems, allergies. As with any medication, this should be used cautiously during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor.

Altachlore drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about every over-the-counter or prescription medications you use, especially of: other eye drugs. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or healthcare professional approval.

Altachlore Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Altachlore special notes: If the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after some days, consult your pharmacist.

If you missed Altachlore dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as remembered; don't use it if Its near the time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Altachlore Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Discard this if solution turns color, cloudy or contains particles.
