Acetaminophen/isometheptene/dichloralphenazone - oral

Migratine Usage: this medication is used to relieve migraine & tension headaches.
How to use Migratine: Take it drug exactly as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed. since migraine headaches, take two capsules at the first sign of an attack. then take one capsule every hour as needed until headache is relieved. don't take more than three capsules in 12 hour period. in tension headaches, usually no more then 8 capsules a day recommended. don't exceed maximum dose prescribed. this medication contains acetaminophen. do not take more acetaminophen than recommended (see Side Effects section).
Migratine side effects: Dizziness may occur as your body adjusts to medication. If this effect continues or becomes bothersome, inform your physician. If you do not have liver problems, adult maximum dose of acetaminophen is 4 grams daily (4000 milligrams). If you take more than the maximum per day amount, it may cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. Tell your physician immediately if you have any about following symptoms of liver damage: severe nausea, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, stomach pain, extreme fatigue. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Migratine Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: heart disease, glaucoma, kidney disease, liver disease, HBP, allergies (especially drug allergies). this product contains acetaminophen. Acetaminophen can cause liver damage. per day use of alcohol, especially when combined with acetaminophen, may increase your risk for liver damage. money with your doctor or pharmacist for more info. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. since small amounts of this drug are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Migratine drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take or have recently taken, including: antidepressants, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). Acetaminophen is an ingredient in many nonprescription products & in some combination prescription medications. Read the labels carefully before taking other pain relievers, fever reducers, or cold products to look if they also contain acetaminophen. Consult your healthcare professional if you uncertain if your other prescription or nonprescription products contain acetaminophen. (Also see maximum daily dose information in Side Effects section). do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Migratine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: severe nausea, vomiting, yellowing eyes or skin, stomach pain, dark urine, extreme fatigue, headache, agitation, low body temperature, rapid and shallow breathing, unusually rapid or slow heartbeat, & unresponsiveness.
Migratine special notes: Use caution while driving or doing tasks requiring alertness as this medication can cause drowsiness or dizziness. Notify some your pharmacist if it medication fails to relieve your headaches.
If you missed Migratine dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the clock since the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Migratine Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom.
