Genoptic S O P Usage: it drug is used to treat infections of the eye (ophthalmic) or ear (otic).

How to use Genoptic S O P: Use this as prescribed. Continue using it for full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too soon may result in reinfection. To apply eye or ear drug, wash hands 1st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or tube or let it touch affected area. Shake drops well before using. Hold ointment tube in your hand for few minutes to make drug flow easier. EYE medication: Tilt you're head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. for drops, place dropper directly over eye & administer prescribed number of drops. look downward and gently close some your eye for 1 to 2 minutes. With eye ointment, place medication inside lower lid using a sweeping motion. Close eye & roll the eyeball. Remove excess ointment with tissue. Try not to blink & do not rub the eye. If you using another kind of eye med, wait five to ten minutes before applying. EAR med: Lie on youre side or turn affected ear upward to make application easier. Place prescribed number of drops in the ear. Avoid touching ear canal. Keep ear tilted for one to 2 minutes. small piece about clean cotton may be placed in the ear to prevent drops from escaping.

Genoptic S O P side effects: it drug may temporarily sting when first applied. If this effect persists or worsens, inform your doctor promptly. in unlikely part you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, redness, swelling or discharge (including eye or ear area), trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Genoptic S O P Precautions: Tell your physician youre medical history, especially: all previous eye or ear problems, if you use contact lenses, any allergies. Vision may be temporarily blurred after applying eye med. Use caution driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. this and all medications should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy or when breast-feeding. Consult with youre physician if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

Genoptic S O P pill interactions: Tell your doctor about all drugs you may use (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: silver preparations, all other eye or ear antibiotic or corticosteroid (e.g., hydrocortisone) meds. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or physician approval.

Genoptic S O P Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Genoptic S O P special notes: Throw away any unused series of some your prescription. don't save this to use for another infection. do not allow anyone else to use this pill. the infection may spread to another people if you accidentally contaminate the med.

If you missed Genoptic S O P dose: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not use if this is almost clock for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Genoptic S O P Storage: Depending upon manufacturer, the product may be stored at room temperature or refrigerated. Ask your healthcare professional. do not store in bathroom. do not freeze.
