Cheratussin Ac Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Codeine is used to quiet a cough. it combination medication is used to control cough and congestion associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

How to use Cheratussin Ac: Take it medication with food if stomach upset occurs. Take it tablet as directed. do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. this is strong cough medication and must only be used for condition & by person for which It's prescribed. it should not be used for just any cough. it is helpful to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.

Cheratussin Ac side effects: Drowsiness, constipation, stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, dizziness or headache may occur 1st some days as you're body adjusts to the medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, itching, rapid heart rate. Cheratussin Ac Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include slowed breathing, drowsiness, deep sleep or loss about consciousness, cold & clammy skin, dry mouth, & slow pulse.

If you missed Cheratussin Ac dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the doses.

Cheratussin Ac Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture and heat. do not store in bathroom.
