Altachlore Usage: this drug is used to reduce swelling of the cornea at certain eye conditions.

How to use Altachlore: Apply this drug to the eye as directed. Apply eye drops to affected eyes as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or let it touch your eye. Shake eye drops before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer the prescribed number about drops. see downward and gently close youre eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at corner of eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. this will prevent the medication from draining away from eye. Try not to blink and do not rub the eye. don't rinse dropper. Wash hands after use. If you are using another kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.

Altachlore side effects: Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for period after applying the drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Burning or irritation of eye may occur when first applied. If these symptoms continue or become worse, inform your doctor. Notify your pharmacist immediately if you develop: redness, pain, swelling in or around the eyes, vision problems, sensitivity to light, headache. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

Altachlore Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist if you have: history of eye problems, any allergies. As with any medication, this should be used cautiously during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks & benefits with your physician.

Altachlore tablet interactions: Tell your pharmacist about any over-the-counter or prescription pill you may take. don't start or stop any medicine with-out physician or healthcare professional approval.

Altachlore Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Altachlore special notes: If the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after few days, consult your healthcare professional.

If you missed Altachlore dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as remembered; don't use it if it is near time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Altachlore Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Discard this if the solution turns color, cloudy or contains particles.
