    Licorice (glycyrrhiza glabra) - oral

    Licorice Root Usage: Licorice root has been used since ulcers, and also for the common cold (cough suppressant & expectorant action). few herbal/diet supplement products have been found to contain possibly harmful impurities/additives. check with your pharmacist for more following info regarding particular brand you use. the FDA has not reviewed it product for safety or effectiveness. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details.

    How to use Licorice Root: Take this product by mouth as directed. Follow every directions on product package. If you are uncertain about any of information, consult youre physician or doctor. this herbal product shouldnot be used since more then 4-6 weeks unless otherwise directed by you're healthcare professional. If your condition persists or worsens, or if you think you may have serious medical problem, seek immeditial medical attention.

    Licorice Root side effects: Unlikely but report promptly: headache, swelling about ankles/feet/hands, muscle pain or weakness, irregular heartbeat. Very unlikely but report promptly: stomach discomfort. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're physician or healthcare professional.

    Licorice Root Precautions: If you have any about next health problems, consult your healthcare professional before using it product: liver problems, kidney problems, heart problems, hypertension, low potassium levels, severe muscle spasms, diabetes. Liquid preparations of it product may contain sugar and/or alcohol. Caution is advised if you have diabetes, alcohol dependence or liver disease.     Licorice Root Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include bloating or swelling of ankles, feet, or hands; sluggishness; muscle pain or weakness; numbness of the legs or arms; weight gain; irregular heartbeat; lack about feeling alert; & trouble walking.

    Licorice Root special notes: Keep all regular medical and laboratory test appointments.

    If you missed Licorice Root dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near time of next dose, skip missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.
