How to use Iodal HD: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase you're dose or take this more often then directed. this pill is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack.

Iodal HD side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur 1-st several days as your body adjusts to medication. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit some your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your physician if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or healthcare professional.

Iodal HD Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, history of drug dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this medication causes you to feel drowsy. check this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult some your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain it product has PPA. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Iodal HD tablet interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure medications, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping tablets, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain drug (e.g., codeine). Limit youre intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Iodal HD Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or quick heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.

Iodal HD special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this med. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed Iodal HD dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Iodal HD Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
