    Phenylephrine/shark liver oil/mineral oil/petrolatum - topical

    (fen-il-eff-rin/shark liver oil/mineral oil/pet-ro-lat-um)

    common brand names: Formulation R, Hemorrhoidal, Preparation H, Prompt Relief, Rectacaine

    Soba Hemorrhoidal Usage: this combination med is used to temporarily shrink hemorrhoids & to relieve itching, burning, and discomfort caused by hemorrhoids.

    How to use Soba Hemorrhoidal: Before using, clean the affected area by gently patting with cleaning tissue. Dry area by gently patting with piece of dry tissue or clean cloth. Remove protective cover from the applicator tip, attach applicator tip to the medication tube, & lubricate applicator tip. Gently insert applicator tip into the rectum and apply very small amount of this medication up to four times daily; or as directed by your doctor. Apply few medication to external region around rectum as well. After each use, clean applicator tip well and replace the protective cover. Inform your pharmacist if youre condition does not improve in 7 days.

    Soba Hemorrhoidal side effects: No side effects expected to occur. If side effects occur, notify your pharmacist promptly. If you notice any of following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop using this drug & consult your doctor or healthcare professional immediately: bleeding from the rectum, increased pain (after inserting the applicator tip). If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

    Soba Hemorrhoidal Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially about: heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, prostate problems (enlarged prostate), any allergies. Tell your healthcare professional if you are pregnant before using this drug. It's not known if this drug passes in to breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Soba Hemorrhoidal drug interactions: Tell your doctor of every prescription & nonprescription drug you may use, especially: HBP medicine, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, isocarboxazid, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), SSRI antidepressants (e.g., fluoxetine, sertraline). do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

    Soba Hemorrhoidal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Soba Hemorrhoidal special notes: for rectal and/or external use only.

    If you missed Soba Hemorrhoidal dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of following dose, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

    Soba Hemorrhoidal Storage: Store in room temperature less then 80 degrees F (27 degrees C).
