    Benzoyl peroxide - topical

    Neutrogena On the Spot Usage: Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat mild to moderate acne.

    How to use Neutrogena On Spot: this drug is for topical use on affected area only. Avoid using this in the eyes, mouth & nose, and on inflamed or damaged skin. the liquid wash or bar soap is used instead of soap 1 time or two times a day. Wet skin before applying it. Gently work up lather and rinse thoroughly. do not scrub skin. Creams, lotions or gels usually applied once or two times day to affected area. very small amount is applied to the affected area and rubbed in gently. Pads: Wash affected area of skin with mild cleanser & water then dry it. next apply the pad, usually one time or twice day to the skin as directed.

    Neutrogena On Spot side effects: Slight stinging, dryness & peeling may occur initially. Expect this. However, notify some your pharmacist if following effects occur: redness, irritation, scaly eruptions, rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.

    Neutrogena On the Spot Precautions: Tell your doctor you're medical history, especially: other skin problems, any allergies. this drug may bleach hair & colored clothing. Avoid contact. Safe use about benzoyl peroxide in kid under 12 years old has not been established. Benzoyl peroxide should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with youre pharmacist. Its not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Though they're have no reports (to date) of harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Neutrogena On Spot drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of every medicines you may use, both prescription & nonprescription, especially: other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or physician approval.

    Neutrogena On Spot Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Neutrogena On Spot special notes: this med is available at many of forms such as lotion, cream, gel or cleanser and in various strengths (2.5% to 10%). several can be purchased with-out prescription. Discuss various products with your healthcare professional or pharmacist to determine the best one for you.

    If you missed Neutrogena On the Spot dose: Use missed dose as soon as you remember and resume your regular dosing schedule.

    Neutrogena On Spot Storage: Store between 59 and 76 degrees F (15 & 24.4 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight.
