Mygel Ii Usage: it is an antacid that works at stomach to neutralize & reduce acid. Antacids are used to treat an upset stomach caused by heartburn, acid indigestion, or sour stomach; to treat peptic ulcer, hiatal hernia or other conditions caused by an excess of stomach acid; & to prevent ulcers or bleeding from ulcers.
How to use Mygel Ii: Take this drug as prescribed. Taking too many an antacid can reverse effects & more acid will be secreted. at certain conditions, however, this may be necessary to take the antacid as frequently as every 1 to 2 hours. To be effective, chewable pills must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing followed by a full glass about water. Shake liquid forms well before pouring each dose. do not take any other tablet within 1 to two hours about taking an antacid. since antacids coat stomach, they can prevent other drugs from being absorbed properly if taken at same time.
Mygel Ii side effects: it tablet can cause nausea, loss about appetite, constipation or diarrhea, weakness, or headache. If these symptoms persist or become severe, notify your doctor. Notify you're doctor if you notice black, tarry stools while taking this medication. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or doctor.
Mygel Ii Precautions: Tell your doctor you're medical history, especially of: kidney problems.
Mygel Ii med interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: tetracycline, ferrous sulfate (iron), drugs used for arthritis (e.g., aspirin, indomethacin), digoxin, isoniazid, pseudoephedrine, diazepam, methenamine, ketoconazole. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Mygel Ii Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, fatigue, weakness, severe nausea and vomiting, loss about appetite, drowsiness, slow or shallow breathing, or loss about consciousness.
Mygel Ii special notes: Refrigerating the liquid antacids may improve taste. do not freeze. If you dislike taste of one antacid, speak to your healthcare professional or pharmacist about switching to similar product. liquid antacid forms work faster & are more effective than the another forms. However, chewable tablets may be more convenient.
If you missed Mygel Ii dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if It's almost time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Mygel Ii Storage: Store pills, capsules and powdered forms at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't store in the bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms about it drug.
