Theracys Usage: this pill is used in the treatment of bladder cancer.

How to use Theracys: it medication is given by trained medical personnel. Using special catheter (tube), tablet is put in to the bladder. You should then lie on your back, stomach & each side for 15 minutes to make sure medication reaches every areas about the bladder. Try to keep the drug in your bladder for at least two hours. Avoid urinating after it is given for as long as possible. this drug may be given every month or up to every 3 months.

Theracys side effects: Painful or difficult urination, frequent urination, cramps, pain or blood in urine may occur 2 to 4 hours after being given this drug & may continue for 24 to 72 hours. If these symptoms continue or become bothersome, notify your MD. Inform your pharmacist if you experience any of next after having this drug: fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, cough, skin rash, blood in urine. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Theracys Precautions: Because it medication contains active virus, this is important to pour household bleach into toilet after urinating and before flushing for up to 6 hours after receiving med. this will prevent the infection caused by virus from spreading. this medication should not be given to pregnant women unless risks outweigh benefits. Discuss this with youre doctor. It's not known if this medication appears in breast milk. Consult some your doctor before breast-feeding. Patients with fever or bladder infection should not use this pill.

Theracys medication interactions: it medicine isn't recommended for use with chemotherapy or steroids (prednisone-type drugs). Tell your healthcare professional of every medication you may use, especially antibiotics.

Theracys Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include bloody urine, fever, chills, or severe dizziness.
