Antihistamines with decongestants - oral
Ry T 12 Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use Ry T 12: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this tablet, unless youre physician instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify your physician. do not increase dose or take this more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Ry T 12 side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as some your body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Ry T 12 Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, HBP, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. don't give this medication to child younger then 6 years about age unless directed to do so by a physician.
Ry T 12 drug interactions: Tell you're doctor what tablets you take, especially of: high blood pressure drugs, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy med. do not take this medication if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Ry T 12 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose at kid may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Ry T 12 special notes: don't share this product with others.
If you missed Ry T 12 dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Ry T 12 Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
