Rynatuss Usage: Carbetapentane is a cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose & throat & itchy, watery eyes. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Rynatuss: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase some your dose or take it more often than directed. this med is best swallowed whole with full glass of water.

Rynatuss side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to drug. Flushing, sun sensitivity & nervousness may also occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify youre physician if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, tremors, hallucinations. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.

Rynatuss Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, parkinsonism, myasthenia gravis, depression, allergies (especially drug allergies). this med must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with youre healthcare professional. since small amounts of it medication are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Rynatuss drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure meds, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.g., linezolid, furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), narcotic pain medications (e.g., codeine). Limit youre intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Rynatuss Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, irregular heartbeat, seizures, large pupils, dry mouth, hot & flushed skin, drowsiness, deep sleep or loss of consciousness, & slowed or rapid breathing.

Rynatuss special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking it medication. this will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed Rynatuss dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Rynatuss Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom.
