Panoxyl 10 Usage: Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat mild to moderate acne.
How to use Panoxyl 10: it medication is for topical use on affected region only. Avoid using it in the eyes, mouth and nose, and on inflamed or damaged skin. liquid wash or bar soap is used instead of soap 1 time or twice day. Wet the skin before applying this. Gently work up a lather & rinse thoroughly. do not scrub the skin. Creams, lotions or gels usually applied 1 time or twice day to the affected region. a little is applied to affected area and rubbed in gently. Pads: Wash affected area about skin with mild cleanser & water then dry it. next apply pad, usually 1 time or two times day to the skin as directed.
Panoxyl 10 side effects: Slight stinging, dryness and peeling may occur initially. Expect this. However, notify your pharmacist if following effects occur: redness, irritation, scaly eruptions, rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Panoxyl 10 Precautions: Tell youre pharmacist you're medical history, especially: other skin problems, any allergies. this medication may bleach hair and colored clothing. Avoid contact. Safe use of benzoyl peroxide in children under 12 years old has not been established. Benzoyl peroxide should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with youre pharmacist. this is not known if this med is excreted into breast milk. Though there have no reports (to date) about harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Panoxyl 10 medication interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about all medicines you may use, both prescription and nonprescription, especially: another skin medicines. don't start or stop any medicine with out healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.
Panoxyl 10 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Panoxyl 10 special notes: this tablet is available at many forms such as lotion, cream, gel or cleanser and in various strengths (2.5% to 10%). some canbe purchased without prescription. Discuss various products with youre doctor or physician to determine best one for you.
If you missed Panoxyl 10 dose: Use the missed dose as soon as you remember & resume your regular dosing schedule.
Panoxyl 10 Storage: Store between 59 & 76 degrees F (15 & 24.4 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight.
