    Antihistamines with decongestants - oral

    Phena PLUS Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms about allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.

    How to use Phena PLUS: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this drug, unless your healthcare professional instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by a high fever, notify your doctor. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.

    Phena PLUS side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability and dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform you're healthcare professional. Notify you're physician if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or physician.

    Phena PLUS Precautions: Tell your pharmacist some your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult some your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult youre physician before breast-feeding. don't give this med to children younger than 6 years of age unless directed to do so by physician.

    Phena PLUS medication interactions: Tell your doctor what drugs you take, especially about: high blood pressure tablets, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication, other cold or allergy medication. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last 2 weeks. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.

    Phena PLUS Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount about urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms about overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

    Phena PLUS special notes: do not share this product with others.

    If you missed Phena PLUS dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Phena PLUS Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
