Mydriacyl Usage: this drug is used to dilate the eye for eye exams, or to treat certain eye conditions.
How to use Mydriacyl: this med is for use in eye. One or 2 drops placed in eyes 15 minutes or so prior to examination. Additional drops may be necessary to achieve desired effect for an eye examination. When used to treat eye conditions, use as directed by your prescriber for full course about treatment. After application of the drops, apply pressure to side of the nose where tear duct is with you're finger for 1 to 3 minutes to prevent absorption into the body.
Mydriacyl side effects: this drug may temporarily sting or burn some your eye for minute when first applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform your doctor. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for few minutes after applying eye drops. Because this med dilates the eye, your eyes will be sensitive to light. Wear sun glasses & avoid bright lights until effect is over. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your physician if you develop: skin rash, eye pain, swelling in or around eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Mydriacyl Precautions: Tell you're healthcare professional if you have: glaucoma, other illnesses, any allergies. this medication should be used cautiously in the elderly. this drug should be used with caution during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist.
Mydriacyl pill interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription med you use, including: other eye medicine. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Mydriacyl Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Mydriacyl special notes: effect of it medication is greatest within about 30 minutes after application. it may take a few hours for the effects to totally disappear.
If you missed Mydriacyl dose: it medication isnot for routine use.
Mydriacyl Storage: Close container tightly after each use. Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not refrigerate. Discard this if the solution turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
