    Tetrahydrozoline - ophth

    (teh-truh-hi-droze-oh-leen)

    common brand names: Clarif-Eye, Murine Plus, Opti-Clear, Visine

    Geneyes Usage: it tablet is used in eye to relieve redness, burning and irritation due to dry eyes, allergies or minor irritations.

    How to use Geneyes: this medication is for use in the eye as directed. One or two drops placed in the affected eyes up to four times day. Apply eye drops as follows: Wash hands 1st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper or let it touch you're eye. Shake the eye drops well before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye and administer prescribed number about drops. look downward and gently close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at the corner about eye near the nose & apply gentle pressure. this will prevent the medication from draining away from the eye. Try not to blink & do not rub the eye. do not rinse dropper. Wash hands after use. If you using another kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.

    Geneyes side effects: this med may temporarily sting or burn youre eye for a minute or two when 1st applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for some minutes after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify you're doctor if you develop: skin rash, eye pain, swelling in or around the eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your doctor or healthcare professional.

    Geneyes Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: other illnesses, allergies (especially drug allergies). this tablet should be used with caution during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks & benefits with your healthcare professional.

    Geneyes med interactions: Tell youre doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may use, including: other eye medications. don't start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.

    Geneyes Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Geneyes special notes: If the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a few days, consult your healthcare professional.

    If you missed Geneyes dose: If you miss dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not apply it if It's near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Geneyes Storage: Close container tightly after each use. Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. Discard this if the solution turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
