Rynatan Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use Rynatan: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by a high fever, notify your physician. do not increase dose or take this more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Rynatan side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. Notify your physician if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or doctor.
Rynatan Precautions: Tell some your physician youre medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. check it product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult you're healthcare professional promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain it product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult you're physician before breast-feeding. do not give this pill to child younger than six years of age unless directed to do so by a pharmacist.
Rynatan tablet interactions: Tell some your doctor what medications you take, especially of: high blood pressure medications, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain tablet, other cold or allergy drug. don't take this med if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Rynatan Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose at children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change at amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Rynatan special notes: don't share this product with others.
If you missed Rynatan dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
