Neomycin Polymyxin Dexameth Usage: this medication is used to treat eye infections.
How to use Neomycin Polymyxin Dexameth: for best effects, it drug must be used as directed. Continue using it for the full clock prescribed. Stopping this drug too soon may not clear the infection and could possibly result at reinfection. Apply eye drops to the affected eyes as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or let this touch youre eye. Shake eye drops before using. Tilt you're head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer the prescribed number about drops. look downward & gently close you're eye for 1 to two minutes. Place one finger at the corner of eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. this will prevent the drug from draining away from the eye. Try not to blink and do not rub eye. do not rinse the dropper. If you are using other kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.
Neomycin Polymyxin Dexameth side effects: this medication may temporarily sting or burn your eyes for a minute or two when applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform your doctor. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for period after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your physician immediately if you develop: skin rash, eye itching/burning, eye redness/pain, eye swelling, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or doctor.
Neomycin Polymyxin Dexameth Precautions: Tell youre physician your medical history, especially of: other eye problems, any allergies (especially to antibiotics or sulfites). this pill must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks and benefits with you're doctor.
Neomycin Polymyxin Dexameth drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. don't start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or physician approval.
Neomycin Polymyxin Dexameth Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Neomycin Polymyxin Dexameth special notes: If the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a several days, consult your physician.
If you missed Neomycin Polymyxin Dexameth dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use this if It's near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Neomycin Polymyxin Dexameth Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. Discard this if the solution turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
