    Cromolyn Sodium Usage: this medication is used to treat allergies in eye. it relieves itchy and watery eyes, tearing & redness associated with allergies.

    How to use Cromolyn Sodium: this drug is for use in the eyes. for best results, it pill must be used regularly as prescribed. do not stop taking this drug with out first consulting you're pharmacist. Apply eye drops to affected eyes as follows: Wash hands 1-st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or let this touch your eye. Shake the eye drops before using. Tilt you're head back, gaze upward and pull down lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place dropper directly over eye and administer prescribed number of drops. look downward & gently close your eye for 1 to two minutes. Place one finger at the corner of eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. this will prevent tablet from draining away from eye. Try not to blink & do not rub eye. do not rinse the dropper. If you using another kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications. Improvement is usually seen within a several days, but it may take up to six weeks since the full benefit to occur.

    Cromolyn Sodium side effects: it pill may temporarily blur vision, sting or burn your eyes for a minute or two when applied. other side effects reported include itchy or puffy eyes, eye irritation and dry eyes. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform you're doctor promptly. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this pill, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your physician or physician.

    Cromolyn Sodium Precautions: Tell some your healthcare professional your medical history, especially about: other eye problems, contact lens use, any allergies. Because this pill may temporarily blur you're vision, use caution driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. don't wear contact lenses while using this med as it may harm them. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this drug. It's not known if this pill is excreted into breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

    Cromolyn Sodium med interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, especially of: other eye medicines. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or physician approval.

    Cromolyn Sodium Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Cromolyn Sodium special notes: do not share this drug with others.

    If you missed Cromolyn Sodium dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use this if this is near time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Cromolyn Sodium Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. Discard any remaining solution after 4 weeks if directed to do so by the product manufacturer.
