    Antifungals - topical

    Clotrimazole Usage: this medication is used to treat fungal skin infections.

    How to use Clotrimazole: Clean & dry affected region before applying the drug. To apply, gently massage little bit about the drug to the affected area & surrounding skin. Continue to use the tablet as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection, causing this to return. Cover with a bandage only if instructed to do so by your doctor. it may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after four weeks, consult your physician. another medication may be necessary. do not apply this medication into the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.

    Clotrimazole side effects: this medication may cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to skin. this should disappear in few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform you're doctor promptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

    Clotrimazole Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. Before using it drug, tell your pharmacist if you are pregnant or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.

    Clotrimazole medication interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially about: other skin products. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.

    Clotrimazole Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Clotrimazole special notes: this drug is prescribed for your current condition only. don't use it since another infection or share it with someone else. another infection later on may require a different medicine.

    If you missed Clotrimazole dose: If you miss dose, apply as soon as remembered and resume you're usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Clotrimazole Storage: Store in room temperature away from moisture & sunlight. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getting wet. don't store at bathroom. Keep out about reach of children.
