Ryna P E C Usage: Carbetapentane is a cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose & throat & itchy, watery eyes. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and another respiratory illnesses.

How to use Ryna P E C: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase you're dose or take it more often then directed. this medication is best swallowed whole with full glass of water.

Ryna P E C side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur the first few days as you're body adjusts to the drug. Flushing, sun sensitivity & nervousness may also occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, tremors, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or doctor.

Ryna P E C Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), hypertension, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, parkinsonism, myasthenia gravis, depression, allergies (especially medication allergies). it medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your physician. since small amounts of this medication are found in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Ryna P E C drug interactions: Tell some your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription tablet you may take, including: blood pressure medications, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.g., linezolid, furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), narcotic pain drugs (e.g., codeine). Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this drug. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Ryna P E C Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, irregular heartbeat, seizures, large pupils, dry mouth, hot and flushed skin, drowsiness, deep sleep or loss of consciousness, & slowed or rapid breathing.

Ryna P E C special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Ryna P E C dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Ryna P E C Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
