    Mycostatin Usage: it medication is used to treat fungal infections about various organ systems of body.

    How to use Mycostatin: Hold lozenge (pastille) in the mouth and allow this to dissolve slowly and completely. this may take 15 to 30 minutes. Swallow some your saliva as the lozenge dissolves. do not chew or swallow lozenge whole. it may take from several days to few months to complete treatment. this depends upon type & location of infection. Continue to take this drug until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the drug too early may allow the infection to continue, resulting in return of infection.

    Mycostatin side effects: You may experience diarrhea, nausea, gas, or vomiting as your body adjusts to medication. If these symptoms persist or get worse contact you're pharmacist. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Mycostatin Precautions: Lozenges (pastilles) may not be an appropriate dosage form for small children. Be sure to ask you're healthcare professional. this med should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor. Its not known if this drug passes into breast milk. Consult you're healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Mycostatin drug interactions: Tell your doctor if you are taking any another medicine including nonprescription products. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or physician approval.

    Mycostatin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

    Mycostatin special notes: it medication is prescribed for your current condition only. don't use it for another infection or share it with someone else. other infection later on may require different medicine.

    If you missed Mycostatin dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered. If Its almost time for the following dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. do not 'double-up' doses.

    Mycostatin Storage: Store lozenges (pastilles) in refrigerator. Keep away from heat.
