Mar Zinc Usage: this medication is a mineral used to treat or prevent low levels of zinc.
Mar Zinc canbe used also for: it medication may also be used to promote wound healing.
How to use Mar Zinc: Take this drug by mouth as directed by your pharmacist or on the package. Take this medication 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. May be taken with food if it upsets your stomach. Best to swallow whole. do not crush or chew. Avoid milk, bran, grains, or cereals within 2 hours of taking this medicine. Use this tablet regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same times each day.
Mar Zinc side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, heartburn may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your pharmacist or physician promptly. Tell you're physician immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: fever, chills, sore throat, sores in mouth, unusual tiredness, weakness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre physician or physician.
Mar Zinc Precautions: this medication must not be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using it medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have: low blood levels about copper. Before using this tablet, tell your physician or physician your medical history, especially of: any allergies. Tell you're pharmacist if you are pregnant before using this drug. it pill passes at to breast milk. While there have been no reports of harm to nursing infants, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Mar Zinc drug interactions: Before using this drug, tell your doctor or pharmacist about all prescription & nonprescription products you may use, especially of: penicillamine, quinolone antibiotics (e.g., ciprofloxacin), tetracyclines, phosphorus containing products. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
Mar Zinc Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fainting, & shortness of breath.
Mar Zinc special notes: do not share this tablet with others. it is important to maintain well balanced diet while taking this medicine. Foods containing great sources about zinc include lean red meats, seafood, peas, and beans. Laboratory tests (e.g., zinc & copper levels) should be performed periodically to monitor your progress or money for side effects. Consult you're pharmacist for more details.
If you missed Mar Zinc dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If It's near the time of next dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.
Mar Zinc Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medicines away from kid and pets.
