    Ranitidine 75mg - oral

    Acid Reducer Usage: this drug reduces the amount of acid at your stomach. It's used to relieve symptoms about heartburn, indigestion and sour stomach. Ranitidine is also used to prevent heartburn from certain foods or beverages.

    How to use Acid Reducer: this pill is usually taken only when Its needed, up to twice daily (2 meds in 24 hours). this is best taken with, or immediately after, meals to relieve symptoms of heartburn. To prevent heartburn symptoms, ranitidine should be taken 30 to 60 minutes before eating food or drinking beverages that may cause heartburn. If you are taking sucralfate, ranitidine should be taken at least 2 hours before sucralfate dose.

    Acid Reducer side effects: Nausea, diarrhea, drowsiness, headache, dizziness, or trouble sleeping may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify youre pharmacist. Tell youre pharmacist immediately if you have any about these unlikely but serious side effects: trouble breathing, muscle pain, joint pain, blurred vision, itching, rash, fever. Tell your physician immediately if you have any about these highly unlikely but very serious side effects: irregular heartbeat (e.g., unusually fast or slow heartbeat), chest pain, mental/mood changes, stomach pain, yellowing of the eyes or skin, unusual bleeding or bruising. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Acid Reducer Precautions: Before using this medication, tell some your pharmacist or physician your medical history, especially of: heartburn combined with lightheadedness or sweating or dizziness, chest pain or shoulder/jaw pain especially with shortness of breath, pain spreading to arms or neck or shoulders, unexplained weight loss, liver or kidney problems, severe stomach pain, other stomach problems (e.g., tumors), any allergies (including pill allergies). Smoking can help cause ulcers & can prevent them from healing. Smoking should be avoided. Alcohol can irritate stomach & cause bleeding. Consult your doctor about the safe use about alcohol. talk to your pharmacist about safe use of it product for children. Tell you're pharmacist if you pregnant before using this tablet. Ranitidine passes in to breast milk. Because about the potential risk to the infant, breast-feeding while using this tablet isnot recommended. Consult you're physician before breast-feeding.

    Acid Reducer medication interactions: Tell your doctor about every prescription & nonprescription medication you may use, especially of: ketoconazole, itraconazole, triazolam. it drug is available in both prescription & over-the- counter formulations. don't take both at the same time. Ranitidine may affect results of certain medical/laboratory tests (e.g., urine protein). Be sure to tell your doctor you taking ranitidine. all nonprescription/prescription aspirin or aspirin-like medicine can cause stomach irritation/ulcers. Consult your doctor or pharmacist. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    Acid Reducer Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include difficulty breathing, fast heartbeat, tremors, vomiting, restlessness, weakness, fatigue, or dizziness.

    Acid Reducer special notes: do not share this medication with others. you're doctor may recommend few lifestyle changes such as stop- smoking programs, diet changes, & exercise to help treat & prevent heartburn.

    If you missed Acid Reducer dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near time of next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.

    Acid Reducer Storage: Store at room temperature between 36 & 86 degrees F (2 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
