Mycostatin Usage: this medication is used to treat fungal skin infections.

How to use Mycostatin: Clean & dry the affected area before applying med. To apply, gently massage small amount of the medication to affected area & surrounding skin. Continue to use medication as prescribed for full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection, causing it to return. Cover with bandage only if instructed to do so by your healthcare professional. this may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after four weeks, consult youre healthcare professional. another drug may be necessary. do not apply it medication in to eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.

Mycostatin side effects: this medication can cause burning, stinging or redness when 1'st applied to the skin. it should disappear in few days as your body adjusts to drug. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your pharmacist promptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Mycostatin Precautions: Tell you're healthcare professional youre medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. Before using this med, tell your doctor if you pregnant or planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.

Mycostatin drug interactions: Tell you're physician of all prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: other skin products. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.

Mycostatin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Mycostatin special notes: it drug is prescribed for your current condition only. do not use this since another infection or share this with someone else. another infection later on may require different medicine.

If you missed Mycostatin dose: If you miss dose, apply as soon as remembered & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Mycostatin Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture & sunlight. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getting wet. do not store in the bathroom. Keep out about reach of children.
