    Leuprolide four month (30mg) - injection

    Eligard Usage: Leuprolide is a synthetic hormone used in treatment of prostate cancer in men.

    Eligard canbe used also for: other brands & doses about leuprolide have also been used for breast and ovarian cancer, and to suppress early puberty in children.

    How to use Eligard: this tablet is given as an injection under skin (SC) & must be used under close medical supervision. Inject it med in to different area each clock you receive dose. this product slowly releases drug into the bloodstream and is given at various intervals. the dosing frequency depends on which product was prescribed by you're healthcare professional. If you directed to inject this drug yourself, make sure you know exactly how to use this & how often. Consult some your pharmacist or pharmacist if you are uncertain or have any questions. Allow the product to reach room temperature before using. once mixed, product must be given within 30 minutes. If not injected within 30 minutes, throw product out & prepare another syringe/dose. do not stop using this pill without you're doctor's permission. Learn how to store & discard needles & medical supplies safely. Consult your pharmacist.

    Eligard side effects: it drug can cause nausea, hot flashes, fatigue, night sweats or increased sweating; bone or muscle pain; reduced sexual desire or function, mental/mood changes, headache, dizziness, hair loss, persistent pain at injection site, or difficulty urinating or excessive urinating especially at night. Notify youre pharmacist promptly if these symptoms persist or worsen. Notify youre doctor promptly if you develop any of following symptoms: unusual weakness, lower abdominal pain, swelling or pain in breast, testicular or prostate pain (men). Tell your doctor immediately if this highly unlikely but very serious side effect occur: back pain. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

    Eligard Precautions: Before using this drug, tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: urinary problems, bone diseases, cancer/lesions of the spine, any allergies you may have. Limit alcohol intake, as it may intensify drug side effects. it med may make you dizzy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. few patients may experience worsening of symptoms during the 1st weeks of therapy with leuprolide. Symptoms that may worsen include bone pain, numbness or tingling in hands or feet, bloody urine, inability to urinate, or back pain. If these symptoms persist or worsen, contact you're doctor immediately. Leuprolide shouldn't be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform your healthcare professional immediately. Discuss birth control methods with you're physician. it is not known if leuprolide is excreted into breast milk. Because effects about leuprolide on a nursing infant are unknown, do not breast-feed. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

    Eligard drug interactions: Tell your doctor about all over-the-counter & prescription drug you may use including: megestrol, flutamide. Certain lab tests may be affected by this medication. Inform all your healthcare providers you use this medication. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or doctor approval.

    Eligard Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

    Eligard special notes: Lab tests will be done periodically to monitor youre progress.

    If you missed Eligard dose: it is very important you do not miss any doses. However, if you do miss dose, contact your healthcare professional promptly to establish new schedule.

    Eligard Storage: Refrigerate between 36 & 46 degrees F (2-8 degrees C). After mixing, discard any unused solution. don't freeze. Keep every medicines away from children and pets.

    Medical alert: your condition can cause complications in a medical emergency.
