Biafine Usage: Emollients substances which soften and moisturize the skin. Emollients may be used as lubricants to treat or prevent dry, itchy skin and minor skin irritations (e.g., diaper rash).
How to use Biafine: this drug is to be applied to the skin as directed. Avoid use at eyes.
Biafine side effects: most emollients can be used safely & effectively with no side effects. However, if redness, irritation or itching occur or continue, notify your pharmacist or pharmacist. Inform youre healthcare professional if the condition for which this med was prescribed does not improve after few days. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Biafine Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially: skin infections/disorders, any allergies. Before using this medication, tell youre pharmacist if you pregnant or breast-feeding.
Biafine medication interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: any skin goods. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.
Biafine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Biafine special notes: there are much types of emollient products available. some contain other ingredients or may be scented. They available in different forms such as oils, creams, lotions or sprays. Consult with some your doctor or pharmacist on product that may be best for you.
If you missed Biafine dose: Skip missed dose & resume your regular schedule.
Biafine Storage: Store in room temperature & keep away from moisture & sunlight. don't freeze the liquid forms.
