Ryna 12 S Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Ryna 12 S: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your physician instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by a high fever, notify your healthcare professional. do not increase the dose or take it more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Ryna 12 S side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability and dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform some your doctor. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.
Ryna 12 S Precautions: Tell your physician you're medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult some your physician promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult you're healthcare professional before breast-feeding. do not give it drug to children younger then six years about age unless directed to do so by a doctor.
Ryna 12 S drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional what medications you take, especially about: HBP drugs, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication, another cold or allergy med. do not take this medication if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.
Ryna 12 S Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Ryna 12 S dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
