    Guaifenesin with dextromethorphan - oral

    Intense Cough Reliever Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. this combination pill is used to treat a cough associated with common cold, allergies & other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Intense Cough Reliever: Take this pill as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase youre dose or take this more often than directed. Capsules & long-acting meds must be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. don't crush or chew them. the long action will be destroyed & the chance of side effects will be increased.

    Intense Cough Reliever side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur 1st few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop any of these effects while taking this medication: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if it medication makes you feel dizzy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or physician.

    Intense Cough Reliever Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially about: lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), any allergies. it drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with youre healthcare professional. since small amounts of this drug are found in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Intense Cough Reliever drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    Intense Cough Reliever Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.

    Intense Cough Reliever special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

    If you missed Intense Cough Reliever dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Intense Cough Reliever Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
