Humibid DM Usage: Guaifenesin and potassium guaiacolsulfonate are expectorants which help to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. this combination about medicines is used to treat cough due to colds, flu, hay fever, asthma, & other respiratory illness (e.g., sinusitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis). Also, phlegm (lung secretions) may become less thick after using this medication along with fluids.

How to use Humibid DM: Take this pill 2 times daily (12 hours apart); or as directed by your doctor. Take this drug with a full glass about water. Water will also help to break-up mucus & clear congestion. do not take more than the recommended dose. It's best to swallow the medicine whole. do not crush or chew this drug. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. Notify some your pharmacist if your condition does not improve or worsens in 7 days.

Humibid DM side effects: Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, drowsiness or dizziness may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify you're doctor. Tell your healthcare professional immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: painful urination (with fever & chills), blood in urine. serious allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other side effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Humibid DM Precautions: Tell you're doctor your medical history, including: allergies (especially drug allergies). this medication may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. this med shouldnot be given to children under six years of age. Ask your doctor or healthcare professional for more details. this combination about medications should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. It's not known whether this combination of tablets passes into breast milk. Because of the potential risk to the infant, breast-feeding while using this product is not recommended. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Humibid DM medication interactions: this drug should not be used with next drugs because very serious interactions may occur: memantine, sibutramine. If you currently using any about these medications, tell your healthcare professional or pharmacist before starting guaifenesin/potassium guaiacolsulfonate/dextromethorphan. Before using this medication, tell some your pharmacist or pharmacist about every prescription & nonprescription/herbal goods you may use. Avoid taking MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, isocarboxazid, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within two weeks before or after treatment with it medication. in some cases serious, possibly fatal, drug interaction may occur. Also report pills that cause drowsiness such as: medicine for sleep (e.g., sedatives), tranquilizers, anti-anxiety medications (e.g., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., phenothiazines such as chlorpromazine, or tricyclics such as amitriptyline), anti-seizure tablets (e.g., carbamazepine), muscle relaxants, antihistamines that cause drowsiness (e.g., diphenhydramine). this product can affect the results of certain lab test. Make sure laboratory personnel & your doctors know you use it medication. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.

Humibid DM Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include hallucinations, seizures, severe dizziness, inability to urinate, rapid heartbeat, trouble breathing.

Humibid DM special notes: do not share this product with others.

If you missed Humibid DM dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near time of next dose, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

Humibid DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light & moisture. do not store in the bathroom. Keep every medicines away from kid & pets.
